Moscha & Nikos { Wedding Photographer Venice }
I remember like it was yesterday when Moscha sent me an email to fill me in on a little secret. Up to that time no one knew, except her and her fiancé Nikos: A wedding in Venice, Italy! I was so excited. I mean, as a wedding photographer Venice is basically a dream. The old buildings, the canals etc. And not to forget the Italian food (yummy). Moscha is also a super talented wedding planner from Greece, so I knew this day would be nothing less than spectacular.
The wedding day started at a suite at Ca’ Sagredo hotel, a breath taking luxury hotel at a prime location in Venice. Moscha had two of her best friends to support her as bridesmaids when she got ready. A beautiful lace wedding dress and those golden YSL heels were perfection! During the Getting Ready we took some of the my absolute favourite photos to date.
Wedding Photos on Canale Grande
When as a wedding photographer Venice is your canvas, you become a Picasso easily. The wedding took place in winter and so it felt like the whole place was ours. With a private boat we drove through the canals and stopped wherever we saw a place for cool wedding photos. The highlight of the day was the Canale Grande at sunset though. I love the feeling of these photos! You can feel the love and see it was a cold but very beautiful evening.
The 5 star dinner at Ca’ Sagredo hotel was nothing short of amazing. Though with 4 people the party was very intimate nothing was missing. From champagne to lots of decoration and a wedding cake with Venetian masks. Oh and then the bridesmaids got a little gift from Moscha: A fantastic Hermès scarf. What a nice gift to remember this amazing day.
