Josie & Brent { NoMo SoHo Wedding NYC }
When I think back to the day Josie & Brent got married and look at their wedding photos I still have to smile from ear to ear. A NoMo SoHo Wedding, in New York, with one of my favourite couples EVER! When Josie & Brent decided to get married in New York they knew it would be THE celebration of the year for sure. Back then, when Josie and I started to exchange emails, I could read what a vibrant and lovely personality she has. When you look at the photos you’ll know exactly what I am talking about here ; )
After months of planning the day had finally come and I met Josie during her Getting Ready at the amazing hotel located at Crosby Street. My love for this design hotel is not new to anyone who knows me. I raved about it every time I get the change to talk about the NoMo SoHo. But let’s get to the important part of the day: Miu Miu glitter heels for dancing? Nude coloured Louboutins for saying “I Do”? A designer vintage wedding dress, also in a wonderful blush tone? I was in heaven! Und so was Josie – as a bride on the terrace of the suite overlooking Manhattan.
A first look like a fairytale
Up to this day I still can feel the moment Josie & Brent first saw each other. I am the luckiest wedding photographer in the whole world to get the chance to experience these moments with my couples! But again, look at the photos and you’ll see what I mean.
After a super fun couple photoshoot it was time to get married (Yeay!) on the rooftop during sunset. Looking up in the sky you saw strings of lights. Looking ahead there was a wonderfully decorated arch with the Manhattan skyline and newly build One World Trade Center in the background. The jewish ceremony was romantic and heartfelt, no eye stayed dry. A rooftop NoMo SoHo wedding – yes, please!

Of course the dinner was top notch, as expected at a NoMo SoHo wedding. But probably the best part of the day startet after the cake was cut: Dancing on a rooftop surrounded by lights of the Manhattan Skyline coloring the night sky in all kinds of blues and purples. Josie’s Miu Miu glitter heels were sparkeling like a million stars while swirling over the dance-floor. Hugs, kisses and laughter everywhere. The whole day was an absolute dream! I hope these photos can inspire you a bit if you are thinking about planning a NoMo SoHo wedding for yourself.
