Evelyn & Ram { Soho House Wedding New York }
I was so looking forward to this couple photoshoot. As engagement photographer New York is just the best place on earth! Evelyn and Ram planned their SoHo House wedding and wanted to take some cool photos before the big day. As they did not want to leave anything up to chance, they hired the fabulous wedding planner Tamra of Ever Swoon to help with the outfits and styling of this photo shoot. Thanks to Tamra again for the amazing support that day and incredible styling!
So before the SoHo House wedding we started our photo shoot at a private loft located right at Mercer street. Everyone who knows this street knows, it is basically the heart of the area. I love this kind of lofts with the high ceiling, industrial feeling and huge old windows. 2-3 sips of champagne, Louboutins in hand, and Evelyn and Ram were bold enough to even step outside on the fire escape. High up there overlooking Mercer street they kissed and hugged and simply enjoyed the view. A really unique moment for everyone!
Like a Million Stars in the Neon Lights
We did not miss getting some street shots, too, before Evelyn changed into a fantastic gold glitter evening dress. Ram also dressed up quite handsomely with smoking and bowtie. After a couple more photos inside we took a cab uptown to 5th Avenue. Though it was already pretty dark, the lights of the shops give these photos a really cool city look.
To finish this amazing day we made one last stop at Times Square, were Evelyn’s dress sparkled like a million stars in the neon lights. By chance we even got our take on the classic Marilyn Monroe air photo.
Evelyn and Ram, I thank you so much for this wonderful day and for being so lovely. I really hope you had a fantastic SoHo House wedding experience and still swoon over these photos back at home!
